Working Principle
It is an innovation horizontal batch-type vacuum dryer. The moister of wet material will be evaporated by heat transmission. The stirrer with squeegee will remove material on hot surface and move in the container to form cycle flow .The evaporated moisture will be pumped by vacuum pump.

The PZG rake dryer achieves drying through indirect heating and vacuum-driven moisture removal
following core processes:
1.Heating System
The dryer consists of a jacketed cylinder, a hollow rotating shaft, and hollow rake teeth. A heating medium (e.g., steam, hot water, or thermal oil) is circulated through the jacket, hollow shaft, and rake teeth. Heat is transferred to the wet material via direct contact with the heated cylinder wall and rake teeth.

2.Material Agitation
Wet material is fed into the dryer from the top. As the low-speed rotating shaft drives the rake teeth, the material is continuously stirred, turned, and pushed forward. This agitation ensures uniform contact between the material and the heated surfaces, constantly renewing the material's surface to enhance heat transfer efficiency.
3.Moisture Evaporation & Removal
Under vacuum conditions (maintained by a vacuum pump), the boiling point of water in the material is significantly reduced, accelerating moisture evaporation. The vaporized moisture is promptly extracted by the vacuum system, preventing reabsorption by the material.
4.Drying & Discharge
As the material moves axially under the rake teeth's action, it gradually loses moisture. Once dried to the target moisture content, the material is discharged through the outlet at the end of the cylinder.
This design combines efficient heat transfer, uniform mixing, and vacuum-assisted moisture removal, making it suitable for both heat-sensitive and hard-to-dry materials.
